Here are some examples of finished systems that I have
installed:
Here are some pictures
from a recent stereo
system done in a 2005
Porsche Boxter.
A custom trim surround
to house an Alpine 9835
head unit was fabricated
and painted to match
the factory heater control
panel.
The amplifier used to
power the system was a
JL Audio 500/5, and the
speakers used were
Morrell.

2002 BMW Z3 Coupe Full stereo system
These pictures are
from a full system
installation with
multiple amplifiers. The
head unit is an Alpine
9835 with a 6 disc
changer, Sirius satellite
radio, and an IPOD
controler.  I used 2 JL
Audio amps
a300/4 for the front and
rear speakers, and a
500/1 for the
subwoofer. The
subwoofer is a JL 10",
and the front and rear
speakers are FOCAL.
I used the area that
housed the factory sub
and amplifier to hide
both of my amplifiers,
IPOD controller,
satellite tuner, and CD
changer
The subwoofer was
constructed to fit exactly
in against the
surrounding panels.
The amplifiers and CD changer were positioned in a way that all the controls could be accessed through the hole
that the factory subwoofer was mounted in. I made the factory grill removable to load and remove the CD changer
cartridge. In this way the factory appearance of the truck area could be preserved when the subwoofer is removed
when the need arises for additional storage.( Please excuse the tools in the photos, these were taken while work
was still in progress)
2003 Porsche 911 Turbo
This system was done with an
Alpine IVA-D300, Alpine 6 disc
DVD/CD changer, navigation
system, IPOD controller, Sirius
satellite radio with JL audio
amplifiers, 3-way Morell speakers
(6.5" for midbass, 3.5" and a
tweeter for vocals)  for the front and
JL Audio subwoofers. There also
was a K40 Un2000 radar system
and a Parrot Bluetooth handsfree
kit installed.

Handsfree kit and the K40 control
knob and mode indicator.
The DVD changer and Navigation
system were mounted in a custom
fabricated enclosure that takes the
place of the stock stereo system's
subwoofer. It was constructed to
follow the lines of the factory
subwoofer, so that if you were to
look from above it would appear to
be a stock piece. You cannot see
either component when the seats
are up. This piece was covered in
OEM Porsche carpet to complete
the factory apearance.
On the left you see the navigation
unit and on the right is the 6 Disc
CD/DVD changer controlled fully
from the Alpine head unit.
The subwoofers in this car were
constructed to fit in the area directly
behind the drivers and passenger
seat. This was done to conserve
space in the already small interior.
They provide a very full sound while
making use of otherwise wasted
space in the car.  These panels
were also covered in OEM Porsche
carpet. These speakers as well as
the rest of the system can be
removed without any permanent
damage to the vehicle.
The amplifiers were installed in the
bonnet of the car on a removable
amprack to allow full access to the
spare tire underneath. In the first
picture you can see the amp cover.
In the second you see the amp rack
itself, and in the third you can see
the spare tire underneath the
amplifiers. There is enough slack in
the wiring to allow the amplifier rack
to be placed above the spare tire
area to allow easy removal of the
spare tire.
Here you can see the K40 laser
diffuser mounted inside the front
grille.

On the right you see the front and
rear K40 alert LED indicators.

This customer wanted to
give up the lease amount
of storage room in his
car so we decided to
install the amplifier
under a false floor in the
bonnet area. In the end
he only lost about 4.5
inches total.

Keeping with that same
idea, the subwoofer
needed to installed in
such a way as to not take
any trunk space either.
We ended up with a
custom molded
fiberglass enclosure in
the front passenger
footwell along the center
console of the car. You
can see the progression
of the sub enclosure on
the right.
